5% Dextrose Injection, USP, 1000 mL (ICU Medical catalog material 792209, NDC 0990-7922-09). 5% (Dex) dextrose injection supplied in a 1000 mL PVC/DEHP flexible container, case quantity 12. Per the product insert (WIFU0000281), each 100 mL contains 5 g dextrose hydrous in water for injection (170 kcal/L, 252 mOsmol/L calc., pH 4.3); the solution is sterile, nonpyrogenic and single-dose, and is indicated for parenteral replenishment of fluid and minimal carbohydrate calories as required by the clinical condition of the patient. Shelf life 24 months.
