AMD-Ritmed neurological sponge, 1-1/2 in x 1-1/2 in (3.8 cm x 3.8 cm), sterile, X-ray detectable and double strung. Used to moisten or absorb biological fluid during neurological surgery and may also be used to protect the brain during incision. Soft non-woven fabric of 100% cotton, latex-free, with a blue barium sulfate X-ray element and blue double string. Packed 10 sponges per count card, 1 count card per glassine, 1 glassine per pouch, 20 pouches per case, 200 sponges per case.
