AMD-Ritmed neurological sponge, 1 in x 1 in (2.5 cm x 2.5 cm), non-sterile, X-ray detectable and double strung. Used to moisten or absorb biological fluid during neurological surgery and may also be used to protect the brain during incision. Soft non-woven fabric of 100% cotton, latex-free, with a blue barium sulfate X-ray element and blue double string. Packed 10 sponges per count card, 1 count card per glassine, 20 glassines per case, 200 sponges per case.
