Lactated Ringer's and 5% Dextrose Injection, USP, 1000 mL VIAFLEX Plastic Container, NDC 0338-0125-04, Baxter product code 2B2074X. This Rx-only intravenous solution supplies 130 mEq/L sodium, 4 mEq/L potassium, 2.7 mEq/L calcium, 109 mEq/L chloride and 28 mEq/L lactate with 5% dextrose (180 kcal/L) at a calculated osmolarity of 525 mOsmol/L. The VIAFLEX container is not made with natural rubber latex and the solution contains no preservative. Supplied as single packs, 14 per case, with an 18-month shelf life from manufacture.
