This Rx-only intravenous solution supplies 130 mEq/L sodium, 4 mEq/L potassium, 2.7 mEq/L calcium, 109 mEq/L chloride and 28 mEq/L lactate at a calculated osmolarity of 273 mOsmol/L with no preservative. The VIAFLEX container is not made with natural rubber latex. Supplied as single packs, 36 per case, with an 18-month shelf life from manufacture.
