10% Dextrose Injection, USP, 1000 mL single-dose flexible container from ICU Medical (catalog material 793009, NDC 0990-7930-09). Each 100 mL contains dextrose, hydrous 10 g in water for injection; the solution is clear, sterile and nonpyrogenic with a caloric value of 340 kcal/L and a calculated osmolarity of 505 mOsmol/L (hypertonic), pH 4.3 (3.2 to 6.5). Dextrose Injection is indicated as a source of water and calories in adult and pediatric patients and may also be used as a diluent for reconstitution of a powder or liquid drug product. Supplied 12 per case.
