Sodium Chloride Injection, USP is a sterile, nonpyrogenic parenteral fluid containing sodium chloride in water for injection, intended for intravenous administration. Each 100 mL contains 450 mg sodium chloride; electrolytes per 1000 mL are sodium 77 mEq and chloride 77 mEq, osmolarity 154 mOsmol/L. Supplied in a 1000 mL PVC/DEHP flexible container, 1 per pouch, 12 per case.
