Excel 50 is Scotwood Industries' premium calcium chloride pellet melter, 94 to 97% pure. It begins melting immediately on contact, generates heat as it dissolves and bores through frozen surfaces to loosen ice from the pavement. It leaves no powdery residue, and because each pound melts more ice, less product is needed per application. Sold as a pallet of 50 bags, 50 lb each.
