The Abbott BinaxNOW COVID-19 Ag Card is a lateral flow immunoassay for the qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid protein antigen directly from anterior nasal swab specimens. It is built for professional point-of-care testing and needs no reader or instrument.
The workflow is simple: add six drops of extraction reagent to the card, insert and rotate the swab, close the card and read the result at 15 minutes. Results should not be read after 30 minutes.
