The AMD RitMed Neuro Sponge is a small absorbent surgical pad used to protect tissue and absorb fluid during neurosurgical and other surgical procedures. This 1/2 x 1 in size is single-strung for retrieval and is X-ray detectable so the sponge can be located radiographically. Sponges are supplied sterile, 10 per pouch and 100 per case, and are sold by the case.
