Metronidazole Injection USP, 500 mg/100 mL (5 mg/mL), from B. Braun. This sterile, isotonic, buffered premix of the nitroimidazole antimicrobial comes in a single-dose 100 mL PAB plastic container for intravenous infusion only. Each 100 mL also contains sodium chloride, dibasic sodium phosphate and citric acid in water for injection. Additives must not be introduced into the PAB container. The container is not made with natural rubber latex, PVC or DEHP. Rx only.
