Cardinal Health SmartGown EDGE breathable surgical gown with ASSIST instrument pockets, size 2X-Large. Cardinal Health co-developed the design with two Mayo Clinic surgeons and positions it as the first surgical gown with pockets intended for instrument storage. Chest pockets and a holster let surgeons keep repeat-use instruments close, which can reduce passes between team members and instruments dropped outside the sterile area.
Each pocket takes one recommended instrument. Keep sharp, hot, heavy and long instruments out of the pockets and holster.
