The CorDx TyFast Flu A/B & COVID-19 Multiplex Rapid Test is a lateral flow immunoassay that detects and differentiates SARS-CoV-2, influenza A and influenza B antigens from one nasal swab sample taken from both nostrils. Point-of-care teams get three results from a single test in about 10 minutes.
CorDx lists CPT code 87428 with the QW modifier for billing, and a matching CorDx control swab kit is sold separately for quality control.
