The Healgen 1-panel saliva drug test is a cube-style oral fluid device for on-site screening of 1 drug of abuse. Collection is observed, which avoids the privacy issues of urine collection and makes the specimen harder to adulterate.
The donor holds the collector in the mouth until the saturation indicator activates, or for at least 3 minutes, then the collector is pressed into the cube. Read results visually at 10 minutes. Results are preliminary; confirm positives with a laboratory method.
