The Moldex 2940R95 is an R95 particulate respirator, effective against oil and non-oil particulates, with an added carbon layer that helps reduce nuisance acid gas irritants below the OSHA PEL. It is not approved for gases or vapors above the PEL. The Ventex exhale valve keeps breathing cooler, and the cloth HandyStrap with buckle lets the mask hang around the neck. Moldex lists acid gas applications such as electroplating, glass etching, fiberglass manufacturing, paper processing and brewing.
