The Moldex 4150 AirWave is a healthcare N95 respirator and surgical mask in one, NIOSH-approved and FDA-cleared as a Class 2 medical device. Its wave-shaped filter improves airflow so breathing takes less effort, the FlexFit facepiece holds position through a full shift, and a soft full foam flange seals without pressure points or a metal nose band. It is intended to reduce the spread of microorganisms, body fluids and particulates between patients and clinical staff, and meets CDC guidelines for TB exposure control and protection from surgical smoke laser plumes.
