Moldex 0083 Replacement Exhale Valve Assembly restores the exhalation valve on Moldex 8000 Series half mask facepieces (8001, 8002, 8003). Each assembly includes the valve holder and the diaphragm.
The 8000 Series instruction manual calls for taking a mask out of service when an inhalation or exhalation diaphragm is missing, torn, damaged, or not seated properly, so keeping spare valve assemblies on hand keeps masks in service. Moldex notes the 8000 facepiece valves and straps contain latex.
