The INDICAID COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test is a lateral flow immunoassay that detects SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid antigen in direct anterior nasal swab samples. FDA has authorized it under an Emergency Use Authorization for point-of-care use in settings with a CLIA Certificate of Waiver, Compliance or Accreditation. Results are read visually at 20 minutes, with no transport media or reader needed.
